A grain bowl bar is a perfect solution for a busy weeknight. By prepping all of the ingredients ahead of time, you can simply assemble the bowls when it's time to eat.
And because there's no cooking required, cleanup is a breeze. Plus, grain bowls are healthy and filling, making them an ideal weeknight meal.
Start by cooking a variety of grains (you can do this on the weekend), such as quinoa, farro, and brown rice. Or check your grocery store for pre-cooked grains in the freezer or canned foods section.
Then, set out a selection of toppings, such as raw, cooked from frozen or roasted vegetables, rinsed and drained beans (or another protein), and avocado. Finally, add a few finishing touches, like a drizzle of olive oil, a dollop of hummus, or a sprinkle of chopped herbs.
