Baked Tofu

• 1/4 cup Bragg’s liquid aminos*

• 1/2 cup water

• 1 teaspoon paprika

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

• 1 block extra firm tofu

 
  1. Whisk together all of the marinade ingredients.  

  2. Slice the tofu into 12 slices about a 1/2 inch thick slices. Submerge them in the marinade. 12 slices fit into a 9x13 glass baking dish in one layer. Cover and let marinade overnight in the fridge.  

  3. The next day, preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Place the tofu on the baking dish in one layer. Pour the marinade into the dish. Place in the oven and bake for 90 minutes.  

  4. Serve hot or cold.  

For TLT: put on bread with tomato, lettuce or spinach. Add peperoncini peppers, vegan mayo and dried oregano. 

*NOTE: If using Ocean’s Halo No-soy sauce you may want to use ½ cup No-soy sauce and ¼ cup water instead of proportions listed in recipe.
